Dip Into Bliss: Emotion
I hope you all enjoyed last week's discussion around sensuality. Our focus this week will be on emotion. Emotions can hold great power over us in our everyday lives, which causes many people to fear their emotions. We are constantly looking for ways to distract ourselves from our emotions when we really should begin to recognize and BEcome aware of them and what we are feeling. Stop and meditate on your emotions. Why do you feel this way? In exploring the roots of our emotions we gain control over them and can release any feelings negatively affecting our lives.

This beautiful quote by Robert Frost, one of my favorite poets, invites us to think about using writing as a way to explore our inner emotions and feelings. Release your emotions by putting them to words in a poem or haiku; whatever feels right to you. This is a great way to become aware and recognize what we are feeling.
