Dip Into Bliss: Honesty

This is the month of intention around communication and this week is about honesty- a great and interesting word, especially in world politics today, more than ever, and the quote for this week is:

"Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom" -Thomas Jefferson

What a beautiful idea. You can’t really have wisdom unless you are honest, unless you are self-effacing, unless you are wise enough, brave enough, and courageous enough to live in your own truth, be honest, be fair, and be wise.

It is a practice, living an honest life, and I do it every day. I make sure that when I wake up that I have my morning meditations and I’m making sure that I live and am setting out my path that day in alignment with the best, most radiant thing that I can do. I ask myself: Am I bringing the most amount of joy, happiness, and balance to others that I can, through my work, whatever I create, whether it’s the sleep beditations that we’re nearly done with, or whether it’s making sure that I’m helping a friend out with something, or making sure that I’m supporting my team that I work with. To me honesty means just making sure that you’re in alignment, that you ask yourself every day and every moment- am I doing the best I can? And being honest with yourself, and if you’re not, then check that out. And why not? Why wouldn’t you want to live the best, most radiant, most powerful life, and most honest life. And that means you have to be honest with yourself, it always comes down to self first because once you can establish that with self, you can establish that with anybody, in any company, in any nation, in any sort of corporation, in anything that is in a living, breathing body, you can do that with honesty, and that’s one of the most powerful things about it.
