Dip Into Bliss: Grounding
This is the month of October, a month for foundation, getting grounded, and getting rooted in purpose. Week number one is grounding, and the stone that goes with that is onyx. Onyx is the stone for your first chakra point, the root chakra, a place you feel when you sit down and can get rooted in it.

I think an incredible way to get grounded is to be in nature, and that’s one of the things that I do. I love to sit under a tree. I’m lucky enough to live near a park. Even if I didn’t, I would find a tree because I grew up having trees all around me. We had eucalyptus trees, gum trees as we called them in Australia, and even in India, we had beautiful coconut trees. Trees have great earthiness, wisdom, and they ground you like nothing else. So, find a tree and stand by it, you can even hug it if you want, I love doing that and listening into the tree wisdom. My favorite thing to do is sit humbly at the bottom of it, cross legged, and receive. Try it, it’s incredibly simple and empowering, and grounding of course.
