We will wrap up August, our month of vision, with this week's theme of INTENTION. This is something we discuss frequently because it really is the key to creating the life you dream of. Intention is that part of us when we allow ourselves to be still...to be quiet...that part that tells us where we want to be in the world and how we want the world to see us. Intention is the bridge that connects our dreams with reality. We use intention to make these things that are initially just a far-away wish or dream into something that actually happens.

Jim Carrey is a man who truly can attest to the power of intention. Before his days as a famous comedian and actor, he had many moments of doubt about himself and his career - to the point where he almost gave up altogether.  On these days of extreme doubt, he would look at a check he kept in his car visor for $10 million for "services rendered to Jim Carrey." He wrote this with the belief it was only a fake, fantasy check. But it pushed him to keep going and one day he was able to cash that check - something he thought was impossible.
